I enjoy working afternoons at the front desk because I am fascinated with the work being done by Dr. Fountain and Dr. Doyle!
I was born and raised in the State of Rhode Island, and hold my Bachelor's degree in Literature and Public Relations. I am a Reiki II practitioner and have been practicing since 2007. I am also trained through the State of Connecticut's Acquired Brain Injury program, and prior to moving to Washington I worked as a companion for individuals who had suffered acquired brain injuries.
In my spare time I enjoy riding my bicycle, spending time with my dog Buddy, reading, and writing. My greatest accomplishments have been through my writing, including being awarded second place in the 2011 Rumowicz Annual Maritime Essay Contest. I have also been published in both Commercial Fisheries News and EcoRI News. Recently I had the pleasure of developing a cookbook for a food bank, the RICAN Food Pantry in Charlestown, RI, where I created recipes using only the food available in the food pantry.
